Heh, it has a LOT of detail. it may be made more realistic by adding more electric effects to the firing sequence.

Did you know there are three contrails used for the gauss contrail?
One of them adds a smoke effect along the edges of the two main contrails from start to finish, while one provides the initial purple color and the second one is the finishing yellow haze contrail.

[*] Not too sure about the AR display-- it may have been originally the one by Phoenix or Tazz. All I know is that I modified it to make it more "Halo 3-ish". Phoenix, it looks like.
