Well all you did was paste the album cover over the bitmap. To me, and i'm also a Blink fan, it looks bad. Keep at it though, try downloading GIMP for making skins, and you'll get better with practice.

Im choosing here to reply to the skins you have been releasing here lately now that ive had time to actually download them and view them and all I can say is .."WTF". The Blink182 thing is by far played out by now and if your trying to give them some kind of tribute in your skins then your disgracing all to hell. Your skins look like resized wallpapers converted to .dds. Nothing more, nothing less. This comment goes very true with that hog skin.

NOw for this tank one all you did is slap a Blink182 logo on two places on the tank and colored the whole bitmap black. Dude, no effort at all. I would even venture to say the "Elephant tank skin" had more effort in it and that skin looked like a child drew in paint on it.

One could simply argue that these are you first skins and your learning but that statement doesnt fly in the case since you have released multipul skins in this section and proved you do know placement in the skins themselves. Your not progressing or not trying to from what im seeing. You really need to find something else besides Blink182 and actually give a shat about what your offering to people to download.

some advice->
the next time you make a skin and you think it done work on it 2 hours more. then send a pm to "Mr. Brightside, JK-47 or Philly" showing them it. They will tell you if its worth posting or not and how to fix it up some more before you make a fool out of yourself again posting rushed/uninspired skins. After you do what they say then post it. Your creditability as a skinner and halo modder is based on what you offer people and so far your down to -20 in my book.

Final thoughts-
i can understand your trying dude i can but it seems like you refuse to try to do any real work at all. if you want to release non sense then thats your call. just be perpared for people to rag on you for posting it.

if you want to get better then actually take about a hour on a skin. skin each part and not slap a wallpaper on the thing. your only hurting yourself by taking the easy way out.

well as i said in other topic they were made just messing around with making skins for the FIRST time and my freinds liked them so i posted them

So why post them? We're not saying not to mess around, but we do expect something with a bit of effort and quality. You are afterall, using hosting space on a website that can barely afford to pay its bills. Don't want something critiqued because it's a "first time" or "just messing around skin"? Then don't post it.

Now im no where as good as mr brightside, or jk-47 but i skin too. Personally i wouldnt release this. first thing i noticed was on the tires...there was the image...then the tire bitmap in the back :S I think a good place to start with skinning would be to select parts of the skin, and change their hue. (pretty sure gimp can do that). then try messing around with adding little details. I cant really help you here because i formatted my computer, and havnt looked for the nvidea plugins yet, but once i find them ill show you what i mean.

Edit: Took 30 minutes. I dont believe this is good, but it shows what you can do with hue changes.

I suggest you download gimp and start learning how to make better skins.
