[mod]H3 Combat Evolved B30 alpha
I wanted to release something for Christmas so I released the H3 Combat Evolved B30 Alpha.
Credits:
Assault Rifle skin - Cookie, Me, Phoenix
AR model - Phoenix
AR animations - FlamingRain
Plasma Rifle skin - TAZZ
Plasma Rifle model - TAZZ
Plasma Pistol skin - TAZZ
Temporary Rocket Launcher skin - TAZZ
Temporary Rocket Launcher model - TAZZ
Pistol animations - CrtlAltDestroy
HUD - Hawaiian Pig, EchoRanger449
Big thanks to kid908 for making the Brute Spiker for my mod.
BUGS:
Ammo thing in top left corner doesn't count the ammo or overheating gauge,
Health Bar messed up,
Warthog crosshair/reticle has black around it,
AR starts off with 60 rounds and once you reload once it goes to 32,
When a weapon is low on ammo the blinking red ammo counter has black around it,
bitmaps.ppf applies more then it should.
BITMAPS.PPF GIVES NEW:
AR skin,
PR akin,
PP skin,
RL skin,
AR reticle,
AR ammo counter thing,
Needler skin for Spiker,
Loading screen from the Halo 3 Beta,
New postgame Carnage report,
new B30 ground,
New PR contrail,
new HUD.
B30.MAP HAS:
Brute Spiker,
New AR animations,
New Pistol animations,
New PR model,
New RL model,
AR is more accurate,
Marines have no weapons at the beginning to make the stage harder.
The only thing not going to be H3 like is the HUD.
I'm only editing the stages B30, Blood Gulch, and Beaver Creek for H3 Combat Evolved.

I don't expect this to be outstanding for an alpha but I think it should get atleast a 6/10 - 7/10

Not bad... Better than I could... Besides skinning, modeling and animations is that all? If so 7/10... If it is going to have different enemies, such as more hunters... 9/10, for an Alpha. This is pretty good. Do you want me to skin the needles for you? I can get them white hot, with no tracking or contrail...?

Anyway, I'll give it a 5/10 because you haven't centered the shield bar.
Are you going to *attempt* a remodel of the elites into brutes? I was going to try remodeling the elite_special, and use that for all the elites.

see, some of us here have this thing called intelligence. we know already it wont look like a direct copy of halo3 because it isnt possible to get everything you need to match it 100%. but we do know what does look passable as "H3" looking and can respect their efforts in making it look close to it. i suggest you try the same.
you got H3 for xmas? does this mean you wont be around as much?
