I think there is no size limite, butr you have to keep in mind that your map should not exeed a cetrain number of triangles. If so it will be lagging like hell. So the detail you can add depend on how small the map is.

Sapien memory leak?

I'm editing a new map and after some changes sampien starts using a huge amount of memory, more a 1.7 gigs. I can not figure out what change caused it. Sometimes it gives a sort of out of mem error in the debug.txt, but when I close all my programs it is just possible to run it. Anyone knows the cau...

I was wondering if anyone has made some cool tags, like new weapons, statinary guns, vihicles or other cool stuff I can put in my new map. Offcourse you get the credits for the stuff you made.

just realign and fit your textures and you are fine. To find the wrong texture, look in debug.wrl. All the wrong faces are blue.

If you do nothing you should see the sky direct. If not you probably did not set it or there is someting wrong with the sky ou selected.

I just had the same problem, after looking at the files modification dates I deleted the files changed the last day. Now I get sapien running again. Water is not really difficult, you can read it in the tutorial. Look also in the materials section, add the flags for fog and Render only property.

Just ignore this error. Look if you see sky, if not set a ski in guerila. Do the thing in the tutorial show your level (radiosity_start -> radiosity_save). Have fun! If your level is smal and your bitmaps are simple radiosity takes no time at all, if you see 0 0 0 it is ok! Do radiosity_save to see ...

Ok here is a tip if you want to compile bitmaps from the comandline, use quotes arround the name ->"<-. tool.exe bitmaps "<name>" without ".tif". This works for every bitmap I tryed. Do not put a drive letter directory (that helped me find this strange tool behavour). [35] p...

You probably forgot to link you level to the frame. Or what ou can do is read the latest update at www.cortana.org. Normally they have a solution for you, it can be cryptic, but it is all in there.

What is the output when you compile, do you get errors? If not, tool maybe named your .senario file diffrent as you bps file.
