HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I patched the compressed files like it said in the tutorial-and I can't download it cos I only have dial up!!
Argh!

I tried again-this time putting the ntsc patches on & writing them onto the pal halo already on my HD, which only has the demos folder missing. Exact same problem. Is there part of the tutorial missing? Is there something else I need to change? PAL halo sucks ass for modding, so if anyone wants ...

Gave this a try but every time I try to run it my xbox reboots.
Any idea where I went wrong?
I left out all the single player maps & the demos when I put it all on my HD & I also have PAL Halo on my HD.
Any help would be appreciated!
