I just installed Halo PC and CE/HEK on my Vista laptop, and updated with the hotfix. When I try to play CE, it says that I have to insert the correct Halo CD-ROM. This kind of stuff happens in any game that doesn't have any sort of "autoban" feature or protection against exploits, scripts, and 3rd party programs. There is also nothing to lose from getting found cheating in Halo PC. It isn't like H2's matchmaking, there's nothing to gain or lose from...

Maybe using a mouse and keyboard is allowing you to line up shots better than the controller.

All this means for us is that 360 owners will have more trouble to put H2 mods in their game.

I agree, spacecraft don't need wings, with exception to small ones. Also, the big blue turrets look really out of place, maybe stationary guns or smaller versions of them would be more aesthetically pleasing.

You should put wire on the server. It is awsome.

Can't you just disable the fog with hmt/hht? If not, why not just swap the bitmap-or-whatever-it-is for fog with a transparent bitmap-or-whatever-it-is?

Nice little skirmish going on . . .

Try to put the gun in proportion. It's almost pistol sized, and should be held like one ingame. And that skin is too bright, not to mention inaccurate.

The animations. The brute vid from a while back had some cool stuff in it, I want to see more of that in the game. Or even use them. Who wouldn't want to slam into a warthog with a brute?
