Which ones that are already in the game look good? The one from a30 looked fine in Sapien, but was orange/brown in-game; could it be a radiosity problem? I only ran the low quality one.

Grass Texture

I've been using the "detail grass" bitmap from a30, but it's coming out brownish orange. Do you have any suggestions of which bitmaps would work well for a good grass texture?

Textures

Can you texture a map using only the images in HaloCE? The tuts show making a basic outline with layers and stuff, but I just want all of the ground to be grass. How do I do that?

I never did anything in photoshop. I applied levels\a30\bitmaps\detail grass.bitmap in 3ds max. Then in Guerilla I made the primary detail map the same thing (levels\a30\bitmaps\detail grass.bitmap) with map scale 30 and no secondary or micro detail maps. It came out perfect except that in some area...

It turns out it was a naming problem. Now the texture shows up, but there are some shadows where there shouldn't be any, and a lot of the map is red and yellow checkered. I haven't tried it in-game yet. Also, how do you set the time limits and score limits?

Ground doesn't appear

I've run radiosity, and applied the example_tutorial_ground texture to the ground, but the whole map has the sky texture. How can I fix this?

Oh, ok, because in the tutorial that comes with the HEK it doesn't show it. Since that's not the problem, what could be keeping the ground from showing up?

Your levels name in Gmax should be "skybox" instead of "level" That's what the problem was, I named the main part "skybox" and I didn't get the error anymore, thanks striderdude. The ground still isn't visible, and I have run radiosity. Every time I do something in too...

Well, I guess I can live with the export problem. However, my ground texture still isn't showing up, even when I ran radiosity in Sapien.

I'll try doing the radiosity in Sapien, I've been doing it in Tool. I stil don't know though why I'm getting this error from BlueStreak.

Yes, I do. it turns out that I only get the problem when I apply my multi-material with the ground and sky. Also, in my maps, the ground never shows up, the whole level is just the sky.

It displays a pop-up message with the title MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception and it says: --Unknown property: "name" in undefined.
I don't know where the debug.txt is, but in blue on the bottom left of the gmax window is says -- totalCount: undefined.

BlueStreak v1.01 error

Sometimes I get this error when trying to export models, sometimes not, I can't figure out how to trigger it or how to fix it. What is it complaining about anyways?
