Vista will overwrite the boot sector on load..... and also..... your bios has to support booting from a usb / firewire device (or however the hdd is externally connected)

wich is rare.

And Microsoft said... "Vista will be backwards compatible with everything that Windows XP was compatible with" and what do they do...... lets see, 90% of games don't work attall and if they do its usually at 1 ~ 2FPS.... and that's on top of the line pc's.... so i say.... WHY IN GODS NAME ...

i tried all three bipeds on the map.... none worked, so i blame the problem on the map im using.... iil do it on headlong.

Yeah..... but the map might have a corrupted Elite MP......... hrmm, Chief MP didnt work either..... must be because its a SP -> MP converson

i just got an extremly strange idea, and i thaught it MIGHT have the chance of working..... ive been out of modding for a few months and im not sure if this will work and i know its going to sound dumb as hell..... basically, heres the idea.... find the part in the Warthog that controlls the wheels ...

btw....

its not full collision if it needs a mach to spawn on.... its full collision when it has the ability to land on BSP.

i went to the gun, and swaped its proj with elete mp and it frose the game on fire.

Dumb question....

really dumb question, mainly cos im too lazy to go about making the changes to the map if it wont work....

if i set up a deathzone and spawn a bunch of Bipeds out of a magnum.... will the bipeds die when they go thru the death zone? or will they live?

ok, this is what i do, i internalise the bitmap first. i use CH2R for extracting / injecting the skin. i use Photoshop 7.0, (none of this CS crap) i change it, flatten any layers that i might have added, and save. and i inject it with CH2R and all seems to work fine. thats just the way i do it, not ...

After i recently upgraded my PC, and reinstalled everything, i had an issue with multiple modding apps not working, after reinstalling dot net many times, i formatted again, sure enough the problem was a corrupted install of windows... which happens too often i think, i format almost every 6 months,...

i think the awnser to this lies somewhere in the Uberchassis car on Terminal, when you spawn a bunch, they come out random colours, so maby find out what does that and bring it over to the MC? not sure if that will work, its just an idea that poped in.

also a side note, if adjusting the ROF on the RL or Gauss or Tank and so on dosent change a thing, you may need to adjust the "Chamber Time" also.

these are the things that i would class as absolutly nessacary for an underwater level IMO... a shorter view distance, kinda "water fog" a higher jump distance... say twice as high as normal.... but at half the speed of normal... (so kinda like half gravity) half movement speed.... because...
