can i put single player maps into the mainmenu.map and be able to play it with more that 2 people?

when i modded my xbox my lockout has a different picture and when i try to host a lockout game i cant but i can join them?

that is exactly what i did but i guess ill try it again

When a i start a game with a map that is not usually on the maps list it goes black and then just goes back.
can someone tell what i am doing wrong?
