go to www.moddingtutorials.com under tutorials look for a tutoral about making the new maps load properly... I believe there is a download link in there....

The darkmatter in that program is The Alpha version, and I get exceptions with it aswell.

You could try changing the shader.... This probably wont change the color but give it an opacity effect.

I believe you would have to use ADI, I am not real familiar with this... But there should be plenty others here able.
