When you host, keep tapping the teleport function over and over and it will randomly teleport another player.

I'm pretty sure there was that program that can unlock hard drives for a fee... I'll take a look around and see if I can find it.

*stop press*

Found it:

In some campaign cutscenes, even when cutscene mode is disabled, it's impossible for the player to move (outside the BSP?). As a result you can't teleport into the cutscene and whatnot. So is it possible to teleport the player to the camera without requiring the player to be in motion, or is there a...

Er, xbox, I know this is your trainer and all, but telling people how they can use it is a bit much... If people want to mess around on system link, what's the harm in that? If there's a mass cheating epidemic, then fine (though changing a new build to remove sys link wouldn't do much good). And ser...

Teleporting crashes the game if you're not host. Wireframe / Debug camera stuff is also unstable when not hosting.

Not forgetting that disabling system linking wouldn't do much for the people who already have this.

Yeah Kornman00 gave me some code to modify the fps that I never got around to implementing...you might see something for it in the next version. It would be unbelievably kickass if there's a way to get the engine to interpolate the frames when the speed is low. I've done some more testing, and when...

Aye, that's true. And naturally if the aspect ratio of the screenshot won't come out at 4:3 or 16:9 (depending on your TV settings) it's going to be inaccurate. Even if the screenshot didn't look the same due to distortion, it'd still be quite useful estimate if it were possible. And if you have a p...

Thanks xbox. That calculator thing sounds very useful too. Now all we need is a way of having the trainer actually show what would be captured by the high res screencap. I wonder if it would be possible to take the FOV and angles from the high res settings, and adjust the camera settings accordingly...

That's what they all say
Haha. Great pick up line. "Hey, check out the size of my screenshot".

What settings for the rows/columns and angles did you use for those giganic screenies by the way?

Oh, and thanks for the feedback guys, and thanks to Snave for the links :)

Damn xbox, that's insanely large :P I thought 1500x2000 using 150 pictures was bad enough :P Very impressed with AutoPanel Pro though. Stitches things together with very little distortion. If anyone's interested in seeing what I've done so far: http://rapidshare.de/files/31587361/mppanoramas1.zip.ht...

Hmm, another idea then. As far as I know, the problem when loading backwash etc from the hard drive with the hacked menu is that others can't load it because the host says "load Halo Directory/Backwash" instead of "TDATA/etc/backwash". What about a way of either rewriting the map...

Here's just a thought. Instead of writing a completely different version for the updates, is it possible to patch in the system that looks for downloadable content in later versions? If that could be done, it'd more or less eliminate any real need to make an update-compatible version.

Sooo.... on another note, how do you actually compile new config files?

I wrote a new one last night, and now have no idea what to do next. Any help appreciated.

And whilst I'm here, how do you disable certain functions? Would you set the controller map to something like FFFF?

A bit more on teleporting. In Multiplayer occasionally it randomly teleports someone else. If you fly to a position and keep hitting the teleport combination, others will appear there after several tries. If it teleports someone in a vehicle, then the vehicle and everyone else in it also gets telepo...

An action replay would not help whatsoever. Even if you get it on your xbox, without a modified console, it'd be completely useless.
