I found out what the problem was...

I can only do 30FPS in the halo settings, anything other than that and the game crashes...

so, now if anyone has a solution to that problem please let me know

Hi all I'm having this problem of halo crashing the PC during my gameplay, I don't know whats causing it or where to even begin looking.... when it crashes, it will flash once or a few times of various things(don't know what else to call them, its random) and then go black and will make wierd sounds...

hi all, even after 1.07 patch halo is still crashing my PC to give you an idea of my system, I have windows xp prof sp2, P4 3.0 gig 1MB L2 cache, geforce 6800 GT OC, 1gig DDR ram.... both of my halo discs were bought from the store one of them was from the soundblaster audigy 2 soundcards that came ...

ok this may seem like a n00b question but, is there any way to alter a file for halo pc to get more letters for your profile name?

Halo on the PC has been crashing windows I can't play anymore than 3 maps then boom there goes windows with no error messages and a blank black screen with funky halo sounds and its been getting worse and worse... at one point after my pc started asking me to select my boot drive, I uninstalled halo...
