Milk Shape doesn't support UV Unwrapping so 3ds is the way to go

Does that mean that it is like the same as HCE just it is for an Xbox instead??? Im a nOOb and need a lot of help. But I am a really good modeler, i just need help with what programs i need to get. Please help me!!!!

-Do you need HEK to create Xbox Maps?
-What are all of the programs I need to get in order to make my own maps
-What programs do I need to create my own HALO models (or at least my own skins)
