Well, im just telling you what IRC matty told me, who which wont be back for a week, and school is almost out (wooohoooooooYES!) I sent the map to the guy, at his gmail address, but he hasnt returned my message... some of the models have also been nipped and tucked at and i have been making some ski...

well, IRC matty was getting it in game, but he kinda left for 2 weeks... you see, the terrain was modeled on wings, and maps can only be made on 3ds max... so his dilema is making it it just a part of the scenery. So if anyone has any idea on how do this, im here.

umm... ok. i just wanna let you know that was my wrong email address, and that i dont mod halo 2, also, if your making your map, how about using a diffrent premace then my map...? have fun on your trip.

skinning hasnt even gotten started yet I dont think... I know that firedragonmatty was working on a L33T wood skin that was bump mapped, but i dont know much more then that. I also need some people with 3ds max to help edit the models, because they were made with wings and i dont know how they will ...

FireDragonMatty is getting a Beta ready although it will take alot of effort because the map was created on Wings. Betas of the Jet ski, Boat, Tre...

I dont exactly know how to texture... but you can you a vertex color and make a material, just use the face option and its pretty easy to find, go to www.wings3d.com

Is there a mac version?

just reskin and edit wizard... it might not be too hard.

Well... I need someone to help me populate considering mac's cant use window programs.... i have the map model finished... it looks pretty horrid but we can always make a better model sometime in the future, email me at boxboy13@gmail.com if you would like to help skin or populate the map... better ...

I think that would depend on what you want to do. I used wings 3d to make my map, and i have heard that lightrays or something is good. check out the file forumns utilities for some other programs that are free.

Well, I am making a map and I have no idea how to skin... could someone point me into the direction of a tut or tell me in this thread the basics of skinning with 3ds max?

i think one sign should still have two cables, just a chunk of it missing.
