Er, they weren't working on a co-op mode, those are the player spawns left over from the xbox version. They just converted the maps and didn't do anything to clean them up. Why would you waste money to fix something that is never going to cause a problem or get seen anyway? Actually, they were work...

For changing the text string, I believe all you need to do is, open the map in a hex editor, do a unicode search for the name of the weapon you want, then rename it. It can't be longer than the original gun name though.

You'll have to hex edit the map to get it to say something like that, and I don't remember where it is, but I think Phenomena still has the one he made.

You have to open up the map in hmt, go to the weapons tag, choose the rwarthog gun, then on the right, scroll down until you get to the dropdown menu that says projectiles (or something like that), then click "0" and change the ROF (rate of fire) to something higher, and change the number ...

I renamed the rebuilt map and put it in the maps folder, I'm telling you all right now, I went over this many times with a finetooth comb, so to speak. I cannot figure out what the problem is, and as far as I can tell, there shouldn't be one.

That's what I did. It was in a post on the user forums, a quote from mono. You have to open the scnr meta of the map, go to the end of the file, find "psbs", count back 16 bytes (each pair of numbers), and then change that to 00 08 00 00. That's exactly what I did, but it still didn't work.

No, someone was working on the sidestep animation, where you play as an elite, and when you strafe, you do that sidestep thing the elites do. I don't remember exactly who it was, but I don't think he actually perfected them, since it would look kind of messed up when you do it.

What? I opened icefields.map, and that's what I saw, icefields, but it should have been the part of b40 with the control room (part C). And I don't know what you mean by the file name could have gotten screwed up. What file are you talking about?

You have to remodel it from the original model in milkshape (most other programs don't work with it properly). To do this, open up hmt, extract the model you want, import it as a .obj model into milkshape, then when you're done remodeling it, export it as a .obj file, and inject it over the old mode...

The rule against ripped H2 content is retarded, and it's no more illegal than taking the BSP and other stuff from PC and putting it into CE maps (just like this guy did). Besides, who is going to shut this site down? I don't think that anyone could, they couldn't even if they tried to hack this site...
